I really like 5 and 6.... good ones!

17. We'll make a series out of suggestion 1... Faerunian Temples (mapped out and populated temples from all the FR gods). And Greyhawk and DL and Ebberon temples for that matter. Or make it generic and just have temples to a generic god of magic, war, luck, etc.

18. FR map folio. Box set with many of the old fold out 1 inch = 90 miles and 1 inch = 30 miles maps from Forgotten Realms updated for 3e.

2. your mother was a kobold: and other faerunian insults

I dunno, I just really liked the 1st one and needed a reason to post it. Go on folks.

The premise of this thread is that there is some supplement that WOTC won't publish and sell? I remain unconvinced of that. I fully expect "The Best of Wizards.COMmunity Board Threads," will be published eventually.

27. Dungeons & Dragons and Anime are two seperate things.

I hope they include at least two chapters on "Inuyasha".

36. Because it's More Realistic: How Not to Ruin Your Game With Houserules
In the groups that I am usually a part of, the main DM (other than me) usually forgets that using rule 0 is not ment to be used on a whim, and that if a rule makes a game more complex, it should not be implemented. In my current group, armor and combat rules have been changed to such an extreme, that new players driven away and encounters take forever (much more than regular d20). In fact, he hasn't provided me the list of houserules, and I am often befuddled about his rulings.

20. The Complete Specialist: A guide to playing sages, hirlings, lackeys, and coherts.

There is already at least one book on specialists, but it is not by WOTC. It is called Experts and is by Skirmisher Publishing (http://www.skirmisher.com/experts-v3-5-01.html). It breaks the Expert down into 5 subclasses: Craftsman, Entertainer, Professonal, Scholar, and Tradesman and provides 30 examples from Alchemist to Weaponsmaker. Both of its reviews at ENWorld are 4 stars out of 5 stars.

1. D&D B&B: A book of inns and motels
.

Will you accept a books on Inns and taverns. If so, there are companies making such books

Darkfuries (http://www.darkfuries.com/) has a book called Inns and Taverns which contains 71 floorplans and 47 NPCs including: bartenders, innkeepers, ostlers, and customers. They also have a second book called Music and Mead, Bread and Board which contains more inns, taverns, and NPCs. The first book has several 4 out of 5 star ratings at ENWorld (they also have other floor plan books for temples/shrines and castles/keeps)

Another company Bards and Sages has announced that they will be putting out a series of books called Adventure Havens. The first in the series will be Tavern Tales which contains a dozen taverns is to be released in February

Here's a book we ALL would buy, but it'll never get printed due to reasons we already know:

41. THE BOOK OF FEATS.

It contains all the feats from all the books, in a similar fashion to the Spell Compendium. And how about 50 more new feats for good measure. This would help boost the non-cleric and non-druid characters that start lagging behind in the middle levels.

44. A races book about fey.
We want it, we need it, we're not going to get it.

45. Draconomicon II

57) How to Make 5 Halves: A book of templates dealing with mixed races, species, and even those things that don't really breed that seem to pop up all over the place in D&D.
58) Arcane Mechanics: A book detailing methods, rules, and examples for creating all those magical items that tend to be present in mythical settings that *aren't* covered by the rules in the DMG.
59) Catastrophes, Inversions, Juxtipositions, and Other Things That Can Destroy a World: A sourcebook full of nasty, horrible things (both natural and not) that can occur to the average gameworld. World-shaking plot hooks galore!

Yes! Long Overdue!!!

71-ish. "The Highway to Hell." Your DM might have said "no evil characters" at the start of the campaign but lets face it, he can't tell your character what to do once the game starts. This guide will show you the quickest way to get from NG to CE. (now includes chapter on rationalizations).

(snip)

31. How to turn your Favorite Movie into a module.Unless, of course, your favorite movie is an animé, because that's playing D&D wrong.

Or should 27 be "Dungeons & Dragons and Other Outside Entertainment are Totally Cool to Mix Together, Unless LugWrench Personally Dislikes Them"? :P ;)

On topic, I'd say what I'd love to see made (in the serious side of the thread, rather than the snarky one):

75) Some kind of Fey book (a la the Draconomicon or Libris Mortis . . . the aberrations one, not so impressive IMO). Some kind of fey book that doesn't try to cast the fey as either perfect representations of NG purity or raving CE psychopaths. If WotC feels they have to (or can pull it off in an awesome fashion), they can do some kind of general Forces of Nature book, with a primary focus on the fey, but also containing things on animals and plant creatures, as well as any other unusual creatures, communities, and opportunities for adventure that work in a "green" region.

76) A book on creating large-scale communities for homebrew campaigns, from big cities, to vast kingdoms, to entire planets.

I read the book of Vile Darkness, and it was weak and almost lame. I think we need to write a book ot True Evil. Me and Several of my friends started work on it.
