1001 Things to place in your city [Archive] - Wizards Community

I suggest to make a list of all the things you can place in a city. When I create cities for my party, I always try to come up with interesting stuff. It's hard, so a list would be easy. I start with some of the most common.

I'll place every suggestion in a long list in this post. Don't think some things could be to big. This list should be usable for a metropolis or planar metropolis as well.

Also, if two things are quite like eachother, I'll post them still both. It's easier to ignore one of the list than to add variants yourself.

Please, don't let it be a list of all the stores you can think off. Here (http://www.svincent.com/MagicJar/Economics/MedievalOccupations.html) is a list of occupations. (Thanks to Angel_Black).
If the store is something more uncommon than candlestore, bookstore, animalstore, post it for sure. (Blacksmith, for example, is something usable.) I hope I made my point clear.

Finally, any mistakes in my english in this post is allowed to be corrected.

For now, have fun! :)

1: Battle arena
2: Tavern
3: Court
4: Palace
5: Castle
6: Church
7: Cathedral
8: Chaple
9: Auction house
10: Prison
11: Sematary
12: Blacksmith
13: Theater
14: Wizard Tower
15: Shipyard

PS: All the things listed here are one or two words. Of course, if you think of something which does not have such a short name, a discription is fine too. If you think of something you made up yourself, I can place both name and discription.
