| Parrex11-15-05, 12:34 PM | I hope this hasn't been done before, I'm probably an evil DM, but I like to incorporate traps into my campaigns... lots of traps... evil traps... traps within traps... So I wanted to hear what kind of traps (and puzzles) other DM's have been shelling out. 1. Ladder rigged to snap in half, while PC's are climbing into pit. 2. Reverse gravity zones. 3. Chamber flooding, and filling with gas. 4. Icy slope into remorhaz lair. 5. Gate (as spell) trap. 6. The Lion Puzzle from Jade Empire. 7. Musical locks (because bards need to feel useful somehow), requires a perform check or a really high lockpick check. 8. Sonic trap, that when triggered angers a swarm of vermin/birds. 9. Time activated moving walls, sort of like the pyramid from AVP. 10. Enlarge spell trap in cramped quarters. |
