I hope this thread takes off. I could use a lot of these small magical items to award the level 1's in the campaign I just started. PC's sure love magic, no matter how small it is.

4. Glowing Rock - When this small stone is held and warmed between the users it gives off a colored glow (chosen by the crafter). The glow last as long as the object was held (maximum 1min) and only gives off enough light to light the users square. - 25gp

13. warming bowl---a small copper bowl that heats water (command word--hot)for thing like teas. I origionally used this for some healing herbs that I borrowed from RoleMaster that needed to be brewed. It was a great resource when they were adventuring and the healer types were tapped out.

14. Flashlight---This was more of a trick than a true item. Take a coin/stone/candle and have continual light cast on the object and place it in a scroll tube at one end ( use wire/soverign glue/spit/whatever to hold it in place). Pop the top open and you have a flashlight. We also used this for shuttered lanterns.

Best one of the bunch so far! Made me laugh.

#17) Mr. Clean's Ever Useful Rag - Removes dirt and grime from one object.

Questions: How are some of you coming up with such low costs for the items? Are they arbitrary costs or are you actually calculating the cost?

Oh, and Stargate, the reference is to Disney's version of the sword in the stone.
A pestle is a crushing instrument, as in a mortar and pestle. The pestle would be describing the stand the drinking glass was on, in The Court Jester. And you have it backwards. The flagon with the dragon has the pellet with the poison but the vessel with the pestle is the brew that is true. Unless you intended it to be backwards.
