There's a lot of threads devoted to things DMs hate, but I haven't noticed any devoted to things we like. So how about it? It can be anything, a prestige class, a spell, a monster, a template ... whatever. Here goes:

1) Spellsword (PrC from Complete Warrior)

2) Smite Infidel (class ability for Divine Champions from PGtF -- unless I'm reading this wrong, you can smite anyone who doesn't worship your god.)

3) Extra Smiting in conjunction with Smite Infidel (feat from Complete Warrior -- what can I say? I love smiting my players. )

4) Blacklight (3d level sor/wiz spell from FRCS -- I can see you but you can't see me!)

5) Revivify (5th level clr spell from Miniatures Handbook -- as long as the cleric's got this memorized, I don't have to even think about pulling a punch)

6) Divine Metamagic [Quicken Spell] (Complete Divine -- now I know what to do with all those turning attempts!)

14: People who are familiar with the Dead Alewives. I just hate it when you try making a joke ( I attack the darkness!) and nobody knows what you are talking about!

20. Devising a fiendish trap and then watching your players perish in it's grasp.

Really, if your traps are fiendish enough, they're win-win. For you anyway.

Oh, man, one of my players does something like this: he gets two d10s on a sheet of paper... then he spins them and lifts the corner(s) of the sheet as to make the dice move, while screaming silly phrases like: "Go Beyblade!" and stuff like that... it's quite funny...
I on the other hand, when a player, like making dice towers... though they tend to be taken down by the other players...

Now, back on topic:

*When you can actually watch your PCs roleplay (and within alignment). In a heavily battle-oriented group like mine, watching my PCs RP almost fills my eyes with tears... ok, maybe not that much, but you got the idea.
*When the monsters you created by yourself (without even looking at the Monster Manual) pose a threat to the party, but doesn't kill them.
*When you get a module from the internet, run it, improvise 95% of it, and have the PCs think that you did not improvise (I've done it once, with the exception of some obvious references, the PCs actually thought it was all in the module... I'm really starting to like improvising).

Actually, reading the M.M. can be pretty dangerous... especially when there is a DM nearby when you're reading it... once something like this happened:
Me(reading the M.M.): *sees the rustmonster* Hey, PC#1, see this monster here!
PC#1: What the hell? It can rust thing?
DM: *looks* Humm... a rustmonster...

Next session

DM: Well, I have something very special for you guys today...
We: ???
Me: Oh, no... it's a rustmonster, isn't it?
A few hours later:
DM: suddenly you see a giant flee-like monster jumpin on the paladin's armo--
Edward (my elven bard): AAAAAHHHH!!! Rustmonster! Rustmonster! We're all gonna die!!!

71. d20s. Okay, maybe it's 'cos I've been playing for less than a year, but polysided dice still strike me as really, really cool. I love them, just for what they are. :D

74. When you can sit back and watch / listen the PC's roleplay for 1 hour straight without you having to intervine (well, perhaps if an encounter or something else is comming up).

75. When players talk for a long time after the session about the things their characters have done and what they are going to do the next session.

76. When you have other plans for the comming week and the players try to rearrange the next session on an other day at their home. (i.e. if you as a DM don't have to take care of everything, when / where to play, etc).

77. When you can hear a needle fall and all the players are focussing on that one dice roll which will save or kill them...

79: When you don't have players that whine because you won't let them use 3rd party splatbooks.

80: When players do wish to use other material, they make sure you have the book for a while so you can look over it, not just blurting out "I want to use this." in the middle of a session.

81 - When PC's over analysis a characteristic in your dungeon (PARANOID).

Prime example in my last session a had a room that had two 15 foot pillars topped with Gargoyles (just statues) set between an Ironwood door. There was also an alcove with a 5 foot wide pit. The PC's spent 40 minutes figuring out what to do because they thought the Gargoyles will come to life. They also wanted to know what was at the bottom of the pit even though I informed them there was a smell of rot and decay emanating from it.

The PC's were so concerned about these benign aspects that when they finally opened the door, they were in for a surprise as it launched a mechanism that lowered a stone stab over the only exit and released a swith that opened two portals containing an Owlbears.

82) Lists that can be finished (1001 lists are just annoying).

83) Players who you can trust to roll up a character without fudging the dice.

84) Players who get so into the game you can shout BOO and scare them.

85) Players who use PPSLs. For the unitiated, those are PrePrepared Spell Lists. (i.e. a 10th level wizard has spell lists for "utility" "travel" "study" "diplomacy" "one big battle" "many little battles" "unknown obstacles") Ahhhh, never hear a caster say "Let me pick my spells" again.

86) Making a party squirm.
