I felt it may be one of those, oops we walked into the wrong room and died type of scenerios, so I decided to change it to a fire elemental that lives in the lava this way I don't have to change the already created Kobolds, their equipment, and leader (fire based shurikens and nunchuka mostly). So to make things interesting I wanted to make 2 sides to the disipline, one side is power, this is where the stronger (physically) of the Kobolds are... less Kobolds per encounter, but higher leveled, focus more on brute strength. All have stunning fist and the like... Higher STR Lowered Wis the other half I'm having trouble with what could you call a side of fire that accounts for its fluididity, something that would work with more monsters at lower levels... basically they are two halves of the same disipline... and depending on which side the PC's choose, they have a slightly different experience. Higher Dex types maybe... I don't want it to be too obvious... so maybe power is a bad choice to you, but what would you call the two halves of the Kobold Monk Fire disipline. |

Try "Heat", "Flame", and/or "Smoke". "Smoke" would work well with the elusive, faster monk types. "Heat" has a strong forceful sound. "Flame" could go either way. |

Brotherhood of the Concealing Smoke: Kobold low level rogues, mostly, i imagine. sneak attacks with numeric superiority, and the trademark kobold penchant for traps. |

The second challange is puzzled based. There is a large fire on the strength side, the door can not be opened (in fact the door doesn't open) and it is magically reinforced so that weapons can't damage it, only by setting it on fire do you gain access to the main hall. The smoke side has similar, but there is a secret door next to the door, to establish, smoke will go around an obstical, flame will go through it... After that it becomes your standard dungeon crawl, which the come together at the master of flame (3rd sorc 3monk) and 2 masters 2 rog/2monk |
