I find myself with a 2nd edition game on my hands, and my recollection of the rules seems to have faded. (Also, 2e questions ok to post here, or is there a special dinosaur section =} )

1) At each level does the character gain 1 hd, or 1hd per each level? ex. A level one bard becoming a level 2 bard gains 1d6 or 2d6?

2) Saving throws. I seem to recall a saving throw bonus based on constitution, but forgot if it applies to all races / classes, or just a select few.

That's it for now! Thanks!

That's it for now! Thanks!Dwarves get a saving throw bonus of +1 per 3½ points Con vs Poison. I think it also applied to saves vs Rods, Staves and Wands, and Spells.

There's probably an OOP forum to ask this though.

The total listed for HD is total cumulative.

Thus, at 2nd level a bard has 2d6 total.

Normally, after 10th level they cease to gain full HD and instead gain a listed HP bonus.

I believe the Con bonus applies to all character's HP, but I haven't played in a long time, so I can't be sure, and my books are already packed away in anticipation of an upcoming move. I don't remember the rules regarding a CON bonus to Saving Throws.

The CON bonus to hit points applies to everyone for up to +2 and up to +7 for Fighters only.

Warrior classes only, so fighters, rangers, paladins.

The CON to saving throws is only to poison (except for dwarves and halflings), and it doesn't actually start giving a bonus until about Con 20 or so, IIRC. You probably need to either get ahold of a 2e PHB or find a website that has them since the tables for stats don't follow any definite pattern.
