3.0 XP Table vs. 3.5 XP Table [Archive] - Wizards Community

11-02-04, 06:47 PM Did the experience table change from the 3.0 DMG to the 3.5 DMG? I have the 3.0 books, but, using the SRD, we've been playing 3.5. If the experience table is different, is the new one in the SRD? If not, is there anywhere I can find it without gettingt the new DMG just for that?

11-02-04, 07:38 PM XP rules have changed 3.0 to 3.5, although the game will not break disasterously if you use 3.0 rules.

XP (and all other levelling rules) are not OGL (and thus SRD). In essence, rules you need to make and play an adventure are OGL. Rules that apply to campaigns, levelling and whatnot are not OGL, nor are setting specific descriptions (such as iconic character names).

11-02-04, 10:14 PM as far as I know the majot change is that you calcualate each Pcs XP based on individual level and not party level. That's an important balancing tool.
