overelemental 09-30-05, 09:32 AM	I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I was wondering if someone could help me out with some ideas.. My group is about to be sent on an adventures that includes tracking down and encountering 4 elves high mages (prc from races of faerun). And I was wondering if someone could help me out a bit with the elves. I wanted to flesh them and their closest followers out a bit, but am running short on time unfortunately, so I would be very grateful if someone could help me out with small bits of history or background for these four high mages, and possibly some good ideas for followers/apprentices to make these people unique. Or location where they could be hiding. These mages should be well-respected in the elven community, but not too high profile people since they are supposed to be hard to find. Statting them out and such I should have the time for, but want to make their histories and personalities unique as well.
Moon-Lancer 09-30-05, 10:27 AM	savarias vira male. Blond hair. blue eyes. med charisma, med int, low wis. Very strong and dexturis, and has a good con. Dareing a brave. Beleaves all his actions are right, and beleaves he can do no wrong. Beleaves fully in his own superority and compleatly comfadent in his ability. Maybe a bit too much so. Jade Dragon female. silver hair with red streaks. Green eyes. High cha, int, and wis. Low strangth, high dex, low con. is a drow... maybe if it fits your campain, and may be a sorceris. A seductrice. Loves to toy with mans heart. Has no dilusions of who she is and embraces her sexuality. She has never failed yet, to seduce the unobtainable, or married. She enjoys them the most. Tree stone male. dirty brown hair. brown eyes. low charisma(6), med int, low wis, high strangth, low dex, high con. obsesive compalsive, and kind of a phicokiller. likes killing little boys and girls. espcialy nomes and halflings for thier children are even smaller most other children. His power comes from money from his famely. Also like a spoiled superstar with no skills to speak of. bearly gets by in magic as it is. takes hostages in times of need. he will alwayse kill the hostage anyway. has protection from his famely. The law doesent have the power to arrest him. Raven Shadow Male Dark black hair. Husky blue eyes. high charisma. Uses people to his own end. Is very good at creating religus zeloits in his causes. Is very level headed, and exceptonaly smart. has a med wis, high charisma, low stranghth, high dex, med con. He is untrusting and mysterius. Has a raven as a familure. Likes to use mind effecting spells. Helps people only when it is in his favor. likes to use his female zelots at tools in bed, and makes them beleave they were raveshed by a god (himself).

Moon-Lancer 10-01-05, 10:24 AM	well respected people alwayse have thier darkside. (low blow here) but something like the bush administration. Sure they are in power. Sure they are respected by thier peers. Not very kind to the avrage joe though. I figured if the party was going to attack them (or at least thats what your post led me to beleave, using the word encountering witch denotes cr encounter to me. thus a fight) that they had to be currupt in some way. Better results may be had by being more specific about what you want and how your world works and what purpus these repected elves have in your world and what they mean to your pc's
overelemental 10-01-05, 10:51 AM	Good point, sorry for not being very specific, and thanks for giving it a try, was nice that someone replied at least :) I know at least one person in my party sometimes reads the boards, so didn't want to give out too detailed info here. The heroes in my campaign are from another plane, but they are currently in Forgotten Realms, timeline is just after the City of the Spiderqueen adventure. The Realms are pretty much by the book, they haven't affected the world much. They need to encounter the elves because they are searching for an artifact, and these four high mages hold the keys. The elves should be held in high regard by most of the elven community, so I reckon CG or at least something goodish. To become elven high mages, they need to be able to cast 9th level spells, so they should also be quite powerful (but that really doesn't matter, more personalities and such I'm after). They should reside in quite different places, and spread out. With a small contigent of followers/guards/apprentices. Some good ideas for locations and basic history behind the mages would be very appriciated :)
