| Fixxxer05-19-04, 09:05 PM | Isn't this the third seperate topic you've created about this same subject? |

| Lord Crimson05-20-04, 01:57 PM | Depends entirely upon the needs of your game. I've seen player characters who are only 25, surpass epic levels easily. I also see 1st level elves all the time, even though they are over 100 years old already... So, if you need this 950 year old elf to have 100 class levels spread out in an innumerable array of core and prwestige classes... then make him. If you need him to be a 3rd level shot-put for villains to throw around and slaughter... well, do it. If I had to guess what seems fitting for such an age, I would most assuredly assume epic levels. But that depends entirely upon whether you even actually use epic rules... |
| Zal'theurn the Flame05-20-04, 02:05 PM | Either that or he's just an innocent fogey... Maybe an old sage (With no real spell casting, because he's old enough to have Alzheimers) |
| Dawnspeaker05-20-04, 02:28 PM | 10..he use to be 30th but forgot it all once he started hitting 500 and memories went. |

| Remnant05-20-04, 07:29 PM | You should give him 33 levels in commoner. This allows him access to epic level commoner abilities, which he would gain as a result of his age. Like epic farming, epic whittling, and so on. |

Please don't do this, its considered to be spamming the boards. It will likely end with your threads being locked, and possibly even a not-so-nice email from the WizO's. Just pick a board, and go with it. Do not post to all of them. |
| Aurotuli05-21-04, 01:16 AM | Well, assuming he's received 1 XP per day for 950 years, that puts him at 346987.5 XP. I'll round down, of course, for 346,987 XP. Hmm, that puts him at level 26. Of course, since he's an elf we should subtract 100 years for this purpose as apparently all elves just vegitate for most of their first century of life. So now he has 310462 XP, which is about level 25: one level lower. Either way, he is just into epic. This may not seem like much, but please recall that most non-PCs in most worlds rarely reach above about level 15. What are his classes? Wiz 20 / Arc 5 would do well, I think. If he adventured a lot in his youth you could even realistically add in up to 5 more levels (10 would be pushing it a little, IMHO). Either give him 5 more levels of wizard or perhaps 5 levels in another class for more flavor: rogue or bard (misspent youth), cleric or druid (for divine flavoring), bard or ranger (for a little more combat with still a trace of magic and other flavors), fighter or ranger (mastered the elven longsword / longbow - even has WS! ). Personally, I like Bard for the sage-style quality (bardic lore), the arcane magic (that whetted his appeteit for more), and the general elven feel (elves make better sense as bards than gnomes do!! ). Thus, I would likely suggest Arc 5 / Brd 5 / Wiz 20. For a more wood elf type, I would replace Bard with Ranger. |
| white lotus05-21-04, 01:38 PM | He is draconic.I am going to give him lenels in dragonrider fighter monk and am thinking about sorcerer. New question what classes do you think he should have? YAAAAA i am officially on summer break,i passed 8th grade. |
| Delfedd05-21-04, 04:04 PM | wait....FOREVER young? who will carry the little childs toys? and how will he pick up the material components for his spells with his babylike hands? and will his familiar poke out his eyes just because he can? i love twisting things around :smirk: |
