Here's an interesting Idea that I'm adapting to my 3.5 F R campaign. A CN character slightly swaying towards good tendencies was a long-time devotee to Leira, and was dismayed by the death of the Goddess.

She is now a cleric of Mask, and through distant and disciplined meditation, she plans on gaining great power and betraying the god so as to re-embody the more neutral deity, Leira.

I know it's sketchy, far fetched, and mirrors some plot lines, but I thought this might be an opportunity for the main plot line of a campaign to take on a "woman power" type of feel, that we predominantly male dms often overlook.

Anyways, I'm running with it in my newest campaign. I just wanted to throw that out there

Sounds alright to me.

Just make sure not to overdo the "womanly power" angle. I find male DMs (I am the very guilty here) often make extremely one-dimensional female NPCs. Either they're airheaded flowery tarts, or duff-kickin "I am woman hear me roar" types, without a middle ground. Everyone has a soft spot, and room for tenderness and compassion, even if it's a reflection of vanity.
