If someone was going to run a comic adventure, what would they include? I was thinking about running just one for my group, and I was trying to think of all that I would put into it. So far I have...
-Possibly a troup of adventurers who are all blind, and really incompetent. They would include...
(oh, and most of these ideas came from here (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=537587) )

1) A blind elf male ranger (or druid), like Montolio from the book Sojourn. In the book, Montolio uses an owl that flies down over enemies and chirps, and Montolio shoots the enemies below the owl. However, I want this NPC to be REALLY bad at shooting with a bow and arrow, so sometimes he shoots in the opposite direction he should and hits someone in the rear, and sometimes he shoots his owl familiar and kills it. Since he keeps killing his owl and having to find a new one, he scares the hell out of animals and they run from him. Still, he's completely convinced they love him.

2) A blind human male wizard who specializes in spells that cause grenade-like damage, and who is constantly lobbing spells in the wrong direction.

3) A blind human male bard who sings this song:
"I've Been Everywhere", Realms version
Hacked together by BadCatMan

I was totin’ my pack along the dusty Long Road,
When along came a wagon with a high canvas covered load
“If your goin' to Longsaddle, adventurer, with me you can ride.”
And so I climbed into the cart and then I settled down inside.
He asked me if I'd seen a road with so much dust and elms,
And I said, “Listen! I've traveled every road in these here Realms!”

I've been everywhere, man.
I've been everywhere, man.

4) A very strong blind female human fighter who is very skilled and whose blindness doesn't affect her in the least. However, she gets bitten by a zombie and turns (I know I'm gonna have to change the zombie stats for this adventure, I think I'm gonna use the ones Oakspar created on his thread).

The bard is always hitting on the fighter and she's constantly turning him down, and when she turns she goes after him and he thinks she finally likes him. The group travels along and by chance the zombie never actually bites them, and they never realize she is a zombie.

I was also thinking that perhaps the troup might have a pet dog, and whenever he thinks that someone in the party has done something successfully (even if they haven't) he makes a Weewee of Triumph on the nearest person. (inspired by Dave Barry)

Anyone got more?

should the bard also sing this (http://ultimaonline.gamigo.de/ultimasongs/dewd.shtml) ? This song would be good cause I could play it on my computer.

Comic adventures can pall after a while, so don't do jokes to death. Much better are 'light hearted' campaigns or even serious ones in which funny things happen.

In a comic adventure (and I've played one - it was bags of fun) it is essential to have a group of players who are capable of spontanious wit. The players are more important than the characters in such a game.

I know, and our campaigns are series ones with funny events. This was going to be a single adventure with new characters- a fun and funny one-shot deal.

What do you mean? Should I just encourage the players to act comically, or should I make humorous mechanics- or both? By mechanics, I mean a repertoire of spells and feats like 'African swallow- a coconut falls from the sky and hits target in head, dealing d6 damage.' That sort of thing.
