Anyways, heres the scoop: I've been DMing nearly forever, and throughout my DM-ing career, I developed some cool DM resources for myself to use, to facilitate my play experience. Most of those have been lost since then. However, I DO remember quite a bit of it, and in preparation for my new campaign, I'm sitting down and remaking a ton of the tools I used to use. First things first: As a DM, I HATE having to check player's sheets for information (I also hate memorizing those same sheets). The problem with the big 3-5 page character sheets is that the useful information is never where you need it. So, What I did was split up the information into four categories: Combat Info Exploration Info Diplomacy Info Inventory, Spells, and Misc. I took these four categories and streamlined them - each sheet can have up to three characters on it. For now, the only one that is 'done' per se, is the combat one. This particular thing allows me to just have my players roll, and instead of shuffling thru papers for a few minutes, just smoothly having combat happen. So, I figured that I would post it here and everyone who wanted to could use it. A note: the last section, "combat skills", is the catch-all for your other skills. If you know how to mess with tables in word, you can change it to have different skills and/or spells per day as well. Anyways, here is the link:http://www.megaupload.com/?d=J8LQO84H |
