| Morka03-29-05, 11:08 AM | Funny, we just started a drow campaign. Unfortunately for you, we are all 3rd level :( Here's our party: 1- Drow Male diviner 3rd (banned school: Necromancy), rat familiar, want to be Loremaster.:schemes: 2- Drow Male wizard 2nd (no specialisation)/cleric 1st of Kiaransalee, viper familiar, want to be True Necromancer. :smirk: 3- Drow Female rogue 3rd, want to be assassin. 4- Young Minotaur slave (Savage Progression), use spiked chain, want to be chainmaster. :fight!: |
| Draco Strang03-29-05, 11:12 AM | Try to stick to NE and LE characters....CE like to fireball everything into submission, and rule through fear. Very hard to keep a party together that way, where LE and NE can hope to pull it off with a little work. |
| WizardlyFriend03-29-05, 11:20 AM | 1- Drow Male diviner 3rd (banned school: Necromancy), rat familiar, want to be Loremaster.:schemes: thats actually what i always play, minus the drow part and the familiar part (gray elf w/ owl) and i dont usually drop necro some good spells in there, enchant is better to drop (illusion has got a good deal of these plus illusions) drow parties would probably have a female id think since they are a matriarchal society |

I'm actually looking for some good character breakdowns (not the whole write up) for a NPC party that the PCs are going to encounter. PS The drow know that the party is coming so they would only send the best of the best, and the NPC party could ambush them at any point. They are in the Underdark. |
| Uratoh03-29-05, 12:51 PM | If it's the best of the best, there WILL be a female cleric in the party, to make sure everything goes smoothly. |

Not sure I'd allow that. Faith & Pantheons doesn't say males can't be clerics of Kiaransalee, but after running CotSQ, I sure got that impression. (Eilistraee's entry also doesn't say males can't be her clerics, but it sure seems implied, both in F&P and the novels.) If a male drow wants to be a cleric, I think he'd need to worship Selvetarm, Vhaeraun, or Ghaunadaur -- or really break with tradition and go outside the pantheon entirely. |
