| Lothian Claw09-01-04, 09:06 AM | I have been working on this session, for a random battle type ordeal. The way that I want it, is this. 1: A 3x3x3 map of rooms. ( that's 3 room's per level, 3 level's, and 3 puzzles per level.) 2: Enemy's that have CR's equal to the difficulty of the traps/puzzle's 3:BBEG in room 10. Now the trap's. This is somewhat how I have the first set of room's, on the first floor. Room (from the left ) 1, on the left, 2 in the center, and 3 on the right. 3 doors in the first room. 3 statue's in the second room, and 3 switches in the 3rd room. Now, If the PC goes into the first room.. ( room number 1 ) and they open door number 2 ( door number 1 is the correct door to proceed.). They spring a trap, and 3 enemies spring up.Same thing with Room number 2, and 3. I have the rest of the blue print's somewhere in the upstairs. I can get them later. But the main reason that I am posting this, is what would be a good idea to lure an evil character into the "tomb of tombs". I was basing the session on straight fighting. if you mess up, you either fight, or die. and start over. everything resets ( random ), enemies respond.. all is as it was before you went in and died. Like I said, I have everything somewhere upstairs. I will repost later on this evening.. Just give me some idea's on how to get an evil character to go in there. |

He might find out that it is reputed to be the hangout of such-and-such person (BBEG) and full of traps. BBEG is known to be somewhat crazy, and likes to challenge people he "deems worthy". |
