| Drausktanchache07-16-06, 03:00 PM | I'm thinking of sending my players to a land that is largely populated by undead, even the cities are starting to become overrun, my first battle pits them up against wave after wave of undead slowly getting stronger, I'm planning on them fleeing, so it shouldn't be a big deal, then they purify a city, but what should they do next, i mean should i give them hints on the source yet, or just continue have them battle undead for a while, the party is lvl 5... |

Its been known to happen, especially if they're used to everything in the game being beatable. However, I suggest not holding back, if they dig themselves into a TPK then let them have it. Then, in future situations, they will (hopefully) have a firm grasp of the need to survive IC. |

In your situation, a TPK doesn't need to happen. If they don't realize the overwhelming odds and leave, perhaps they'll get the message after a couple of them bite the dust. |
