Ranger Lvl 6 Paladin Lvl 6 Cleric Lvl 6 Wizard 4/ Fighter 1/ Bard 1 Monk 5 / Rogue 1 Psion 2/ Bard 2 That is the adventure group. The single crit is an Archer Demon, and he is protecting a breeding ground for Tannarukk's, (fiendish orcs, crossing demons and orcs to make an army). It is normally a cr7 creatures and is found on page 34 of MM3 3.5. It normally has 135hp and an ac of 19. I am adjusting the hp to 75% of max, giving it 155, and adjusting a few things. I am making its dex a 17 instead of a 19, but adding explosive to one its bows qualities, and to the other I am adding pass-through. (these are found in the complete warrior page 134). I feel this makes it the same in cr of 7, but takes away from its chance to hit and dex and init. I can make that quality fit the mold easilly enough in this game, but my question is, is my group ready for this? They have a dedicated archer, and the wizard/bard and psion/bard are also decent with longrange wepons, and the wizard has magic missiles with penetration for SR 18 the creature has. This crit is perfect for my idea for my campaign I am running, but for some reason I feel uneasy about this crit. Please let me know your thoughts and if a decently magic outfitted group could handle this blinking nightmare. Thanks, CC |

It will be more difficult than normal, but not near overwhelming. The psion/bard could have problems, as he is the lowest in level, but if he is concious of this situation then it is ok. |
