| Raumz04-29-07, 11:23 PM | I cant beleive Im even having to ask this but....how much can a fighter with 17str pull if he was lashed to a wooden wagon? The party has a large amount of loot they want to move and want to get a wagon and lash the fighter to it. I have no clue how much he could move, I would assume it would be more than the "Push or pull" thing becvause hte wagon has wheel thus it would be easier to move. Funniest part is the fighter dosntk now of this plan yet... |
| Mock2604-29-07, 11:25 PM | I'd say 1.5x or 2x what he can drag. It's a LOT easier to pull something in a wagon or cart than to drag it along the ground. |
| Onikani04-30-07, 10:32 AM | A character can generally push or drag along the ground as much as five times his or her maximum load. Favorable conditions can double these numbers, and bad circumstances can reduce them to one-half or less. I would say wheels are a usually favorable condition - so yeah anywhere from 5-10x his max load... |
| DrakePD04-30-07, 11:06 AM | Do they have a special Yoke and harness to fit the fighter? Pulling the wagon with ropes and etc would not be too terrible, however the down hill run would get tricky! |
| Mindolin04-30-07, 11:08 AM | Make certain to have the wizard give the fighter a potion of expeditious retreat for the downhill run, he'll need it. Then snicker at the fighter who takes it without realizing that the fast he runs, the faster the wagon follows. |
