So I am cruising thru my DMG looking at the "Major Features." I don't use this page often since I usually custom build my rooms but I was curious as to what was on it and I saw something called a "Relief." WTF is a relief?

Normally, a depiction of something that sticks out from a flat surface, like the Lincoln head on a penny.

Edit: Did a quick search and found these pictures (http://www.fotosearch.com/results.asp?keyword=relief+tombs+egypt+&category=&searchtype=sss) of Egyptian reliefs.

A "relief" is a sculpture consisting of shapes carved on a surface so as to stand out from the surrounding background.

Google rules.
