I want to know, how much strength would it take to 'break' an iron lever.

It's a rusted iron lever, and if the players try to force it, it will break. I just wantot know whats an apropriate measurement of how much strength it will take.

All of the rules i have seen for breaking things involve striking them. I guess if I had your question I would first look at a good (nonrusted) iron bar. DMG pg. 62 gives an iron bar a DC of 30 to break and a wooden bar a DC of 25. Obviously a lever is weaker than a bar so for iron mabey reduce it to DC 25. Then reduce it for how rusted it is: lightly rusted DC 20, moderately rusted DC 15, very rusted DC 10.

This is made up on the fly from rules in the DMG (of course).

Find an equivalent and use that, for simplicity.
