A starter [Archive] - Wizards Community

10-18-04, 03:14 PM I just got this game like 2 days ago but around here i can not find anybody to play with. Is there a way you are able to play by yourself or do you have to have somebody else with you. Please write back

10-18-04, 04:11 PM You'll probably notice pretty quick that you can't really play by yourself. Better luck with a PC game there. DND is a multi-player game, and designed to best suit about 5 players (well, actually 4 players and 1 DM). Best of luck finding a group or forming your own.
Look at the DND Gamers Classifieds to find others seeking to play in your area. Do a web-search to find a gaming shop in your area. Look to see if they have a message board to find gamers, or better yet, if they sponser games within their store.

10-18-04, 05:56 PM just get like 2-3 other freinds from school or work or what ever and introduce them to the game, thats what I did and it's working out fine

Then you can be all like, 'Dude, it's like a video game where you can do anything you can think of!'

They'll be all like, 'Righeous, can I play?'

Only with out the drugs. You might also want to consider checking around local hobby shops or posting fliers at book stores.

Seriously, do what the guys above said, and if you live in a gaming wasteland like me :rolleyes: ,then you may have to try online play. This site (http://www.rpol.net) may be helpful.
