Yeah. Quick question. What do you think would happen if an "evil chef" fed adventurers food made from troll meat? Say it was strongly seasoned and stuff. It would be negative on a detect poison test. Would the troll start growing in the GI tract? Or do you think it would take a lot longer than that? I'm asking because I might want to "transport" a troll, if you catch my meaning; and I think you do.

Thanks.

I don't think that it would be considered poisonous. Might be, but thats up the you.

I'm pretty sure that it wouldn't grow once it was eatten. Digestive acids. There are two other issues I see with the idea. If the meat is still capable of regenerating, then it would be kind of obvious, wouldn't it? And since when do people eat raw meat...won't the troll will stop regenerating if you cook it?

I know that if someone served me a plate of raw meat that was coming back to life at the rate of 5hp/round, I wouldn't be eatting it.

Right.

Acid. Forgot about that. However, I'm pretty sure if I said, "The waiter puts a disgusting plate of raw meat in front of you," one of my PCs eat up. Thanks a lot.

There is a disease mentionned in the book of vile darkness . I don't remember the name of it (I don't have my book with me) but I remember that the way to contract this disease is to eat particulary foul food, and they give as an example eating troll meat.

Other than that, I think that the digestive acid would be sufficient to make the troll meat safe to eat, altough pretty discusting

You could always serve a specially concocted drink with the effects of a Salve of Slipperiness.

If the Salve can be used to prevent Sovereign Glue from sticking to a flask, I'm sure it can be used to protect the meat... although whether that would give your PC a real bad tummy ache is another thing all together.

I thought only the largest part of a severed Troll regenerated?
