| darkhunter200712-21-06, 07:43 AM | I want one of my players (Gershom, 14, religios and the Rogue of the group) to be in this forum-but-if he'll be here i couldn't share my problems and ideas for my games with you all because he might see... what to do, should i call him or not? |
| EyelessBeholder12-21-06, 07:59 AM | Let him on just dont let him know you you are ..... maybe that will help to keep your problkems game wise outa his knowladge till he eventually catches on or make another account that you can use just to have him think your someone else. |
| darkhunter200712-21-06, 08:46 AM | how didn't i thought of it, he's religeos (how to spell it?) i can ask him not to enter the DM threads-he'll listen but i'll have him to promise-in a Tana"h book. btw: for does who dont know what Tana"h is, tora is bible in hebrew the word means Tora (Bible) Nevi'im (prophets) Ktuvim ("writenn" i think) |
| Sarella Starshine12-21-06, 09:59 AM | there is also nothing wrong with asking him not to read any thread started by you. |
| darkhunter200712-21-06, 10:28 AM | in the what a DM to do you mean... |
| PenderGrass12-21-06, 02:03 PM | I doubt you could keep him from any part of the internet - unless you literally control his computer access. My players know I am here and often read my threads. So, if I don't want them to know, it never gets posted here (or anywhere). :dragon: **** |

If you want to keep your players from checking a thread on the forum, you may ask them to avoid the "What's a DM To Do" section altogether, or ask them to avoid threads with a Spoiler Warning. Example: a GM running a campaign set in the land of Zo may post a thread with a warning: "Need Help (Zo Players Keep Out)." Place this warning again in the first post for the thread. At that point, if your players are honest and honorable, they'll keep out. If your players are sneaky, conniving, and untrustworthy, they'll read anything on this forum and use it for their own benefit. So be warned. |

So. What's the problem? He's religious and you want to use that against him? (Ie, making him swear on his holy book that he will not read the threads you start). I don't think that's right. Not at all. |

| trapspringer12-21-06, 04:59 PM | Dude, you're twelve? Relax, if the guy finds out you're gunna' have him fighting orcs in a dungeon it won't be the end of the world. It won't change much of anything, in fact. He probably already has a pretty good feel for your DMing style. Besides which, what are you, his Mom? |
| concerro12-21-06, 06:27 PM | just make 2 profiles |
