| Marstead09-23-07, 01:05 AM | There was a post on one of the forums here (maybe ENWorld?) that had a discussion about an ability score increase variant that used the point-buy rules to allow players to raise lower scores more quickly than higher scores. Despite my efforts in Google and this forum's search function, I can't seem to find the thread. Can anyone link me? Thanks! |

I know that Hong over at ENworld has a innate magic system linked in his sig (or its on his webpage that is linked), where characters get points each level, and buy stats and other magical bonuses with them, in order to remove the need for the big 6. |

Thus, if they want to wait a few levels they can totally put their ability score bonus into their main stat... or they could get a lot more small bonuses to other stats much faster. |
