My girlfriend play a druid in my campaign and she just learned to wild shape. How should her animal companion react? Her companion is an eagle, the first day she used her wild shape to get into eagle form, but the next, she tried a wolf... I am clueless as to how her animal companion (AC) would react.

Of course, they have the empatic link, it could be worked out that her AC knows its her because of it. or not. please help.

Thanks!

The animal companion would react to her the exact same way.

But one thing, don't make your own abbreviations. AC has a place already.

Yeah, animals have a weird sixth-sense when it comes to this sort of thing. It's like in the movies when an evil clone takes over the indentity of the main character and only his dog Butch seems to realize the vile truth. I think it works the other way, too. Your animal companions know you no matter what form you take. You have that certain je ne sais quoi about you... That... presence... That spiritual... selfness... Oh, heck, I guess what I'm trying to say is, "Yeah, what Morbid said."
