| Fend05-20-06, 03:37 AM | One of my players is planning on becoming a: 4th level Paladin / 6th Level Monk (or 1 less paladin one more monk) With the aid of the Ascetic Monk Feat. I have no problems with this at all :) But what would be a Nice prestige class for him to go into? I run a mixed campaign of Pantheons (any god goes really) and we took a look at Martyred Champion of Ilmatur (cause he worships ilmatur) but it looks pretty much like He does More Damage as a Monk anyway, and as a paladin hes already pretty fearless. and another stupid thing about that class is at 5th level you get Holy suffering which means if you take 50 Damage in turn (or more) you gain a +1 bonus Per 10 points of damage suffered to your attack rolls and some other bonuses i forget. but we Surmised that if someone ever DID deal that much damage in one go to him - hed probably die in the next 1 or 2 rounds anyway. On another note he wants to Retire his old character Normally (Still alive)... should i make him bring in his Ascetic monk at the same level because of this? or 1 level lower as normal. Reasons he wants to retire his character is no matter how hard he tries to get him killed (even running pretty much into the jaws of a Green dragon) he just doesnt seem to want to die. |

If his character has lasted a time, let him bring it in on the same level. If he switches all the time, bring it in on a lower level. |
