Adding points to abilities [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-24-06, 07:05 PM how do you add points to abilities like strength or dexterity, is it the points you get when you level up

07-24-06, 07:16 PM At level 4 and every 4 levels after (8, 12, 16, 20) you get 1 point to add to any ability you choose. There are effects from certain magic items that can add temporary or permanent (really strong magic items for permanent) bonuses to ability scores. Also, there are ability buffing spells, but those are also temporary.
