| Gaishin05-03-07, 04:21 AM | Been having limited success piggy backing another thread in a different forum so thought to give it a try here. Basically, I am currently running the new ravenloft (going well) and am already looking ahead. I was trying to think of other adventures/modules or even the "super adventures" that span many level gains that would fit in after EtCR is over. So would anyone have some idea's/suggestions as to what would go well with post EtCR once Strahd is defeated. I figure the characters will be level 9 or so when they finish and would like to continue the characters. Perhaps enough to take them to 20/etc. if possible. Thanks ahead of the time! |

It might also be a good tie-in to the middle and later part of the Age of Worms adventure path from Dungeon Magazine. That is pretty undead-centric. |

Thats a great idea, will have to hunt down those dungeon. Thanks! |

With minimal changes you can tie it in with Expedition to Ravenloft- the Blood God's shrine (the lowest part of castle ravenloft) instead becomes a shrine of a long-"dead" Goddess of Undeath, one who gave Strahd his gifts. Send the characters on an unrelated adventure to get to 10th and then have them begin the module and eventually realize that the goddess is the same one revered in CR. She has woken after her last servitor, Strahd, has been struck down. Anyway, sounds like it would work pretty well. |

| Grod_The_Giant05-03-07, 08:28 PM | you can always try making up your own. I'm not familiar with the module you're using, so I can't be certain of my accuracy, but I'll give it a shot. the BBEG was only providing cover for a circle of vampire lords intent on reviving the long-dead vampire [would-be] god Irlusael Bloodknife, who was imprisoned a thousand years ago. Five Orbs were enchanted to maintain the spell that keeps him imprisoned, and one was given to a dracolich of each chromatic color. The PCs must gather the orbs before the vampires do. how's that for an idea? |
