See that guy there? That one, a few posts down? You know the one I mean. The idiot with the utterly wrong answer. Boy, would I hate to play in his campaign! I mean, he's so obviously wrong- Ah. You will find that MANY people on this board disagree with each other with ferocious zeal, but this a good thing! it gives you insight on other DM's & their group's play style. You get to see various DM tricks in action and you might be inspired to cherry pick these and insert them into your own unique DM style. you also get to meet people from around the world: Canada, America, Europe, Iraq, Australia... everywhere! Technicians, Doctors, Students, Psychologists, Mathmaticians, not even at GenCon do so many diffrent minds unite to debate and try to better themselves! unfortunately, like in all message boards, there are ugly, knuckledraggin brutes called trolls. but hey, all you need is a +1 flaming longsword at your side, a good rational debate and you're all set! to the debate-mobile! away!
