Hmm... without info on the number of players, what they are, are the like it is difficult to give you anything concise; however, here are a few ideas:

a) witch hunt: the players come across it, are involved in it, are the target of it.

b) summons: the players are summoned to a court of a king to: 1) help out with a problem, 2) as a ruse to capture them, etc...

c) none of the above. :)

"Help!"is, as hecate points out, a rather broad question.

If you are really not interested in what kind of adventures or for what level of PC, i''d download a random module. Try www.wizards.com/dnd. Theres plenty of adventures there.

Next time you put a question on these boards, please put as much effort in putting the question as you expect poster to put in giving the answer. Also, it might be helpful to give some basic information.

sorry folks, was typing this at the same time the topic starter replied

If you have nothing yet - then maybe you oughtta postpone it?

If you are THAT determined to run a game COMPLETELY unprepared, then I suggest just choosing a 'random' encounter of the appropriate CR and then add a little backstory or some such - let's say something like this:

Hill Giant

Lost Worg Puppy

Looking for 'puppy'

PCs find 'puppy'

Hill Giant tracks it to PCs

Begin encounter

Rinse and repeat......

Or use the table in the DMG for like over 100 ideas of adventures.

Rinse and repeat for everything D&D
