GreatWyrm 03-14-06, 01:53 AM	Looking for a good farmiliar to go with an air/electricity-focused wizard/elemental savant.. Ideas I have so far are: Sylph, Shocker Lizard, Storm Elemental any ideas for a farmiliar? Must be small, preferably of the air or electricity subtype-

Gallameed 03-14-06, 07:16 AM	If you poke around a bit on the planescape boards or something, I'm sure you might be able to find a para-elemental thats actually a tiny or small sized thuderstorm complete with little zaps of lightning and everything? Theres bound to be something like that around. :)
GreatWyrm 03-14-06, 07:18 AM	There's the storm elemental, which seems pretty promising.. I'm also seriously considering taking a feat that'll allow me to have more than one farmiliar, and having 2+ shocker lizards. Whether or not my DM would allow that, though.. :D

I'm a curry lover myself, give me vindaloooooo! :D Have you thought about taking a Blue or Silver Dragon wyrmling? They are storm, weather inspired...
Tytalus 03-14-06, 07:40 AM	I can only repeat it: air elemental (http://www.wizards.com/dnd/article.asp?x=dnd/sb/sb20011109a). Doesn't cost a feat (only 500xp). Supreme mobility (fly 100, perfect), nice bonus (+2 initiative), perfectly in flavour, and 100% supported by official rules.

GreatWyrm 03-14-06, 09:01 AM	Air Elemental is definitely a contender, however I'd probably go with Storm Elemental.. esentially it's an electric-enhanced air-elemental, which fits even more perfectly. The DM Guide goes over variant farmiliars, and that spell is cool too. Maybe my DM would allow the spell with a storm elemental instead of an air, with the same special bonus.. Must talk to DM..
