Has anyone worked up a sample manifest/bill of laiding for what's in the cargo hold of an airship? lightning rail? etc.

I'm crashing my players into the the mornlands, I just know they are gonna loot that ship.

Really, give them whatever you feel comfortable giving them. If you want to limit their loot, make it a cargo of food -- heavy, but time-sensitive enough that it might be being "airlifted" to a starving region.

If you want them to get real loot, again, take into account that most goods transported in this way would be time sensitive -- why else ship them on an expensive craft? Spices or arms and armor to a country at war would provide PCs with valuable loot and their presence on an airship would be well justified.

I was hoping somebody had a loot table already, then I could just delete the stuff that shouldn't be there or would alter the game too much.

i know i know!

the ship is sending food to a starved city under siege... that can't touch the ship (illusion orb)

unless you accually plan for them to get stuff from this siege

Medical herbs.

Religious writings (not favored upon in areas the texts would have to pass through on the ground).

Ceremonial items important to upcoming religious festivals.

Food that spoils quickly-eggs, milk, and rare produce (strawberries, banannas, & pineapples).

Live animals-breeding stock desperately needed or rare animals given as gifts between rulers.

Jewels (not gold or silver-they are too heavy to be worth the expense).

Passengers.

Dispatches from outposts to the capital (and visca versa). DC 20 to crack the codes used.
