| Alamanda04-10-06, 01:39 AM | Next session our group will decend into an airy water dungeon in the middle of the Misty Marsh. This is the first time I've tried to game master a group underwater, any advice from all the masters out there? |

I like to play up the flavor of being underwater also...talk about minor currents, for example, kicking up muck from the bottom, warm or cold spots (go easy on warm spots if you have a juvenile group). My party loved one underwater adventure b/c the cleric's wooden tower shield was a recurring object in many earlier adventures, they were always using it to solve problems...I made a big deal about it floating above the cleric's head as they walked around, and the cleric complaining about it. He was also not all that strong but in the heaviest armor in the party, so he was the butt of several "ballast" jokes. |
