03-22-05, 03:37 PM By 3rd edition I'm not sure if you mean 3.0 or 3.5, but it's on pg 134 of the 3.5 DMG. Should be somewhere around that page in the 3.0 DMG also. The Index is your friend.

03-22-05, 03:41 PM When someone's alignment changes, erase what they have written on their character sheet and write in the new alignment. That's it. Apart from certain class qualifications, there are no specific rules regarding alignment. Alignment change penalties are a hold-over from older editions, and don't exist in 3e. It's just a gauge that indicates how your character acts, nothing more. Alignment follows your behavior, not the other way around.
