The last part of my alignment outline deals with divine spells, Clerics etc. I am working on a system that when an individual casts a spell on a person of a different alignment that the spell may have lessened results, or heightened results if cast on the same alignments. Here is my example:

Group 1:
Chaotic Good(Rebel) Neutral Good(Benefactor) Lawful good(Crusader)

Group 3:
Chaotic Neutral(Free Spirit) Neutral(Undecided) Lawful Neutral(Judge)

Group 2:
Chaotic Evil(Destroyer) Neutral Evil(Malefactor) Lawful Evil(Dominator)

Polar opposites:
GG <=> LE
NG <=> NE
LG <=> CE

Spell Group to Group Effectiveness
Type
+ g1 -> g1 = 100%
- g1 -> g1 = 50% 1d8 damage would do 1d4
+ g1 -> g2 = 100%
- g1 -> g2 = 100%
+ g1 -> g3 = 100%
- g1 -> g3 = 75%
- Polar opposite = 150% 1d8 => 1d12 (CG polar opposite is LE)
+ g1 -> g1 same align 125% (example: cg to cg)

+ g2 -> g2 = 100%
- g2 -> g2 = 100%
+ g2 -> g1 = 50%
- g2 -> g1 = 100%
+ g2 -> g3 = 75%
- g2 -> g3 = 100%
- Polar opposite = 150% 1d8 => 1d12 (LE polar opposite is CG)

+ g3 -> g3 = 125%
- g3 -> g3 = 125%
+ g3 -> g2 = 75%
- g3 -> g2 = 75%
+ g3 -> g1 = 75%
- g3 -> g1 = 75%

This is my rough idea. Enlignten me with the wisdom of the board sages.

Story wise, this is an interesting idea.
Game wise, this is an extra step that will be needed each time a divine spell is cast.

I think the effort/reward may be a bit out of ballance.
