Are there stats anywhere for a small goat? I will not have access to the book, so if someone can post the stats that would be great. I prefer published material, I could easily make up stats myself, but prefer my players to stick to published material when possible. Further, I know there are rules in Tome and Blood for alternate familiars, maybe in other books as well. What are they, exactly? Do they require a feat? Do alternate familiars give bonuses like familiars in the PHB? I do not have access to that book, either, so if anyone can post any pertinent information regarding alternate familiars, I would appreciate it. From a DM standpoint, I don't mind allowing alternate familiars, though I can see how things can start to become unbalanced once you allow small creatures as familiars...now they have twice the hit points, better saves, better attacks...it seems like you are getting something for nothing by choosing a small animal over the tiny examples in the PHB. Thanks for the help in advance.
