The PC's didn't encounter them in the dream, but they met an artist who had depicted it in one of his masterpieces. I drew it afterward, just 'cuz it seemed so awesome. Yeah, sometimes I draw things from my campaign, just to see how they'd look. I've drawn all the PCs (with the players describing them) in normal style and in a manner that pays tribute to OotS. I've drawn NPCs, monsters, cities... it helps relieve the stress, at the cost of about twenty notebooks... |

There was a me in my 80s, I aged well, went silver but kept my hair, playing a middle aged pseudo-Anglican cleric. There was a me in a respectable grey suit, I think I was a civil servant, playing a happy go luck paladin. There was a female me who seemed to own the games shop we where in, playing a chauvinistic dwarven wizard. There was a cyborg (quite borg but with cleaner lines, a cyberman breastplate and a purple colour scheme) me playing a druid. There was a me who looked like a hybrid with me and Lord Havelock Vetinari of the discworld, playing a rogue. We got into a debate over who was more badass, Judge Dredd or Terry Pratchett. |

He dreamt that we were all somehow pulled into the game world and became our characters. Life was switched from fanatasy to reality. He had a very descriptive explanation of the whole thing and it sounded like it was pretty cool. I remember him saying something about being disappointed when he woke up.... Guess that's what you get when you play super characters. ;) |

My wife (played by her character, a human bard) had to make a Will save to resist going insane when one of our kids colored the wall using spaghetti. As I recall the elven ranger (playing my lawyer friend) kept cheating on his rolls... I remember yelling at him to "roll where I can see it". I found it interesting due to the fact that it is considered impossible to hear sound in dreams. Umm... can I get a source on this? To my knowledge that statement is incorrect. |

I had the craziest D&D dream last night too....i dreamt this girl i know was a succubus......wasnt a bad dream...but it got a little wierd. |

One of my favorite D&D dreams involved D&D as an MMORPG. (NOT "D&D Online." Ugh. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth.) I soon realized that it was "broken," because a Bard with Brew Potion could become one of the richest players in existence simply by devoting his/her time towards making Potions of Glibness. |

I had monsters as the players characters, and here's a rundown of the roster Jocko: a dopplganger with a mean disposition, he kept asking me where the salt was. he played a female elven druid. Racist(that WAS his name): a choker playing my half-dragon barbarian, we gave him chocolate closer to the end of the session and he blew up. Klauth: yes, I had the dragon of the sword coast in my campaign. no, only his head was inside the house. he played a dread necromancer multiclassing as a Cleric of Wee jas. how he even knew about the deity, since he is from faerun, is up for debate. Rob: well, he was dead. animated enough to roll the damn dice, but otherwise his head kinda hung backwards and he stared at the ceiling. we decided this was the best position because if we positioned his head to the side he looked at us and it creeped everybody out, and too many jokes came out when he was looking at his crotch. needless to say, we just kinda made him our *ahem* meatshield, as he was a barbarian zombie in game as well. somehow, Klauth translated his groans the session went like this: ... DM(Me): you awaken to find that-- Jocko: the Man i slept with is gone? that free loading son of a B*tch DM: well, uh no. he's still there, but his throat's been cut Jocko: can i have some salt? I want to put it on the corpse? DM: do mean in game? Rob: Groooooooaaaaaan... Grooan.. Gran. Klauth: i think he said he wants a new axe DM: just go steal it from the local shop. last time I checked, your chaotic, and your character sheet says reckless. Jocko: I'm changing my alignment, alright? DM: for the last time, chaotic sarcastic is not an alignment. Racist: cmon! get up! it's time to go slaughter something! ... and it went on like that for what seemed like two or three hours. we never did get out of the inn. then I woke up. I'd fallen asleep in my favorite chair (the same one i'd been sitting in in the dream) watching TV. I actually expected to see little pieces of decayed flesh where Rob used to be, and the hole in the wall where klauth stuck his neck through. at least i didn't go looking for their character sheets. |

Some fight for the money, some for the honor, some other for the fame. A famous archer is indeed one of the latter, and to some degree has already achieved his desires. Tales of his prowess travel faster than wind and spreading from mouth to mouth and feeding his growing ego. Becoming a famous archer doesn’t require a strict moral code or a particular training. It needs good chance, a vast amount of skill and just a little bit of luck. Similarly there is no precise way to become one. Winning a great archery competition, saving a village from a raging ogre or destroying the same village itself are all eligible means to qualify for the class, as long as some witness recognize an impressive display of archery talent and spread the tale. Fighters and Rangers are usually the best candidates to become a famous archer, nonetheless bards are also lured to make themselves a name as famous archers and even some rogues cannot resist the temptation to show off. If the name and achievements of a famous archer are for some reason forgotten the famous archer loses all his Trick shot uses and cannot advance in this class until he regain his fame. |
