I originally posted this is in the Adventures board, but got told to post it here because nobody really visits that neck of the woods.

While browsing through all the many free adventure modules online, I came across this (http://shadow.wizards.com/dnd/files/Eye_for_eye.pdf) - a module by Monte Cook. It looks pretty good to me, and fits perfectly into my story arc, but I was just wondering if anybody on the boards has ever run it? How did it go? Are there any major changes that need to be made, either upping or lowering the power of the NPCs or anything like that? basically I just want to know if it's worth running, or if i'd be better off designing my own assassination attempts? Thanks.

*le bump*

It would appear nobody can help me. I'll try once more (IE now) and then let this thread die.

If I'm gonna throw an assasin at my characters, I'd rather do it myself rather than through a module. Then again, I'm generally aganist modules except for begining DMs. I think they're the best thing in the world for begining DMs. (well, also good for last minute "I need something to run in an hour!" situations) But, especially with something like an assasin, you really have to write it in well. Now, if this module is 'exactly' what you are looking for, go for it. comb through it good, and make judgement calls on what looks good/overpowered/underpowered.
