I mean, maybe if he had provided more information we, as knowledgable players, ready and able to help, could have done a better job at accomplishing just that.

But I think I've come up with a solution for his problem having done my best to read the original post in its entirety.

Dude, if you're worried about all of the things which may happen to your wizard's spell component pouch, (lost, removed, disarmed, sundered) Just have him buy about three aditional spell component pouches to keep as backups.

Actually cutting grass is not like flying the limping oxen. Everyone knows that cutting grass is a move action that provokes an AoO. I have read the DMG Errata however an and AoO can be mitigated if the grass is cut only 5' at a time and the mowers speed is set at "turtle".

Flying a limping oxen is a Swift action that does not provoke an AoO. Remember too that if the limping oxen is within 5' of its master than the master gains the benefit of the Alertness feat. A limping oxen cannot share spells despite popular belief.
