Okay, I already posted this in the Monster's lair but it obiviously isn't such a hot topic...or people don't have Dragon magica yet...so I'll post it here because I think this is the forum with most hits, ergo, there is a greater probabilty of answer...right? Hope nobody minds! :P

The description under melee attacks states: 4 talons +22 / +17 / +12 / +7 which means that the monster has 16 attacks??? ( above attacks with each of its 4 talons )

That seems kinda too much...all with the fact that, as a rule, natural weapons don't get extra attacks from a high base attack...otherwise, you'd have the Tarrasque biting at..what... +57 / +52 / +47 / ...etc...

Explanation, anyone?

Despite four arms the monster will only get four attacks at the bonuses that you gave. Not 4 attacks per claw.

You're right, natural weapons don't get iterative attacks, and those are clearly iterative attack bonuses listed there. The book is wrong, unless the verlock has some special ability that specifically gives it iterative attacks with its claws (and I can only assume you'd have mentioned something like that if it was there). A verlock's correct full attack would be 4 talons at +22 (and whatever else they have).

look under the feat section for the monster. Does it have a feat called Rapid Strike, Improved Rapid Strike, Greater Rapid strike listed? If so, then the monster could get some ititerative attacks with its claw attacks. If no such feats are listed, then it should be 4 attacks at +22 to hit (1 for each claw).

Figured that's the case...time for another errata, right ? ;)

And no I doesn't have Rapidstrike...but that's one cool feat...and just right for those muscular dragons..hehe...

Anyway, thanks for the input...
