Angel's rate of molting??? [Archive] - Wizards Community

11-28-04, 10:14 PM How fast does an astral Devia molt?/How fast do thier wing feathers regrow?

My Kender wants to make a cape out my astral devia's feathers. Something about flying.

11-28-04, 10:22 PM Honestly, this is where your FINE DMing skills comes in. Simply put, you make it up. Maybe do some research on other feathered creatures in real life that molt... and perhaps figure that it might take longer for the Astral Deva then the bird because of less feathers? Or maybe an Astral Deva doesn't molt?

There are so many answers you can give to this, just think up one, and use it. After all... you ARE the DM. :p

I'd tie it in to solar cycles since they are astral creatures. 100 years sounds good, but it's coming up soon for the character. That way you aren't a feather making machine. BTW the kender will fall to his death right?
