| Danflor06-17-07, 05:03 PM | What do I do? I have a player who annoys the **** out of me. I could kick him out but for one tiny detail: He started the club. I am friends with all the other players and brought three of them in. Help me!!! |
| wizardguy200306-17-07, 05:09 PM | In what way are they annoying? At the end of the day, if he just gets on your nerves, and not everyone and doesn't interfere with the rest of your player's rp experience, than it sounds like you'd need to grow a tolerance for him. If it's a problem for the whole group, then you all need to sit down and discuss this and pin down what it is he's doing and decide on a combined course of action. At the end of the day, the best solution is always talking about these situations so they don't grow into real issues of resentment that could really interfere with the RP. And we all know that is what is most important dammit!!! ;) |

Unless this discussion is going to involve a character or a rule or an encounter there's really nothin to be done other than to talk with him about whatever bothers you, or leave, or get him to leave, or put up with it. |

Your ability to articulate never ceases to amaze! ;) When you need to say something it becomes a shouting contest with him. He plays his character in a very annoying way; almost purposefully getting on the other player's nerves. He often swears alot. We have some younger players so this cannot be tolerated. I have talked with some other players and they agree with me. It is mostly his attitude. Something about him makes me want to punch him in the face. |
| Holy_Beholder06-17-07, 05:19 PM | How young are the younger players? Even most elementary schools are cuss fests these days, I don't think the swearing is going to be a big deal if they are at least 12. |
| Danflor06-17-07, 05:23 PM | They're homeschooled, so they aren't exposed to the frequent uses of the F-Bomb. ;) |

My friend, I'm afraid that this situation perhaps falls outside of the realm in which the boards can assist you. Your problems appear to be of an entirely personal nature, and a conflict of personae such as this is not so easily resolved as a game rule, character problem, or campaign issue. I believe your only recourse is to speak with the individual in question, so that you might work out your differences, else you might end up needing to leave, or have him leave. Beyond that, you can only endure. Happy now? |
| Danflor06-17-07, 05:28 PM | Much! :D |
| utilitarian06-17-07, 05:32 PM | Much! :D I live to serve. |
| Ack06-17-07, 05:35 PM | Take your friends elsewhere and don't invite him. Problem solved. |
