| Deekin05-09-07, 04:20 PM | I have. It's a Brutal meatgrinder. I ended with a TPK while the players were investigating the area under the coliseum. They were not stealy, not orginized and had no tatics. The undead held them off long enough for the fully buffed cleric to arive, who then slaugterd the PC's. It didn't help that the party consisted of a Rouge, a Telepath, and poorly optimized wizard of some sort. |
| The man they call Boxhead05-09-07, 04:45 PM | I ran it through to about level 12. Then my group fell apart. I recommend taking the adventures more as guidleines and if it's running once a week, get ready to be playing for about a year (if you're running it once a month, I hope you have a decade). There are a lot of brutal encounters. If your group is the type to try to bullrush their way through everything, watch out. I'd also recommend the Paizo message Boards for more detailed help. |
| drake_vampiel_d05-09-07, 05:46 PM | I keep trying to get it going but it never seems to get going since my groups keep PCSing (In the military) |
| Lycanthrope_Paragon08-22-07, 01:26 AM | I got ahold of Paizo's "Overload" that conserns the age of worms things. I was wondering if i needed more then that to run it? do I need EVERY back issue of Dungeon? that'll cost a fortuine! |

Well, you're going to need that years worth of Dungeon, as that is where the actual adventures are... |
| Deekin08-22-07, 11:15 AM | Dungeon 124-138 IIRC. |
| jbsaff08-22-07, 11:20 AM | I thought that it got put together in one book somewhere. Maybe I'm thinking of something else, though. |
| heffroncm08-22-07, 12:38 PM | The first big Dungeon Campaign was put into a book. Paizo was going to publish Age of Worms as a book, but then Wizards yanked their license. They no longer have the right to publish Age of Worms as a book. |
| LarryMac08-25-07, 09:40 PM | "The Shackled City" was the first adventure path, which was compiled and released as a hardcover. As for "The Age of Worms", I'm loving running it - if only for the oldschool references to White Plume Mountain, Tenser and various others that I won't spoil here. There are some brutal battles but if your group consists of munchkins they can rip up most of what's thrown at them since Paizo seemed set on using only core books. |
