So anyone has any idea how to do Warfare combat? i don't think doing each person one at a time would be a good idea... |

The whole point of the battle is that the PCs won't be alone in hitting the orcs. If there's only a difference of 10 between the armies it should take about 2 attacks for the humans to wipe out the orcs in an attempt to get over the walls. This is assuming at least half of the humans are on top of the walls and protected from the orc's arrows, if they have any. I would expect maybe 2-3 human casualties at the most. Now if you were to have hundreds of orcs attacking 50 humans, that would be a little more realistic. For moving the orcs around, I would recommend splitting them up in groups and giving the group a combined HP total and, if you're using miniatures, remove a few when the HP gets low enough. If you are using miniatures, and you don't have enough gummi bears work really well for hoards of orcs. (Imagine a hoard of 1500 gimmi bears, getting eaten by the players whenever they die... we didn't feel to good after those sessions.) |

For example: -Have them shore up a splintering door. -Have them on top of the walls picking off orcs while arrows are flying around them -In the event that the orcs do manage to get into the fort, have the PCs fight in melee combat to keep the main building safe. Basically that can keep a long hack 'n slash session interesting with varied combat, or roleplaying situations. |
