ronin1274 11-04-04, 03:26 PM	Im just wondering if anyone knows if they still require those that take massive damage (50 points or more in one hit) to make save or die, if so what is the save where can this be found in the DMG?
Blane 11-04-04, 03:59 PM	Not quite a death save but on page 145 of the PHB it says: Massive Damage: If you ever sustain damage so massive that a single attack deals 50 points of damage or more and it doesn't kill you outright, you must make a DC15 fortitude save. If this saving throw fails, you die regardless of you current hitpoints. This amount of damage represents a single trauma so major that it has a chance to kil even the toughest creature. If you take 50 points of damage or more from multiple attacks, no one of which dealt 50 points of damage itself, the massive damage rule does not apply
