The Horizon Walker's Improved Planar Mastery includes an "other" catagory, where DMs can basically make up new abilities. Has anyone done this? If so, what abilities have you allowed your players to have?

No, but reading your thread this came to my mind

Abyss: You have learnt to use the raw chaos of the abyss to arguemnt yourself. Whenever you are one the any layer, you gain 3 bonus abysial heriotor feat. You must have have the preq. for the them. You also gain a +1 insight bonus on attack and damage rolls against any creature with the loumara, tnar'ri or abyrith subtype

I spose you could do the same for the nine hells, granting devil touched feats. But these are sorta covered by the alighned plane ability.
Is this idly curiosity or do u actually need some new abilities?

Air
You have the spell-like ability to use fly up to 5 times per day, not flying for a combined total of more than 10 minutes per day. You can only have yourself as the target of fly.

Considering the power of Dimension Door every d4 rounds, and tremmorsense, 10min of fly might be a little weak.

How about a poor, but never-ending flight ability? For example, average maneuverability with a fly speed of 10.

Tremorsense isn't amazingly powerful. Unless I'm misreading it, and it does negate the effect of invisibilty (i.e. no 50% miss chance, no losing dex to AC)

From the description, it looks like tremorsense does negate invisibility, as long as the invisible creature is performing actions, and is in contact with the ground, and is within 30 feet.

If I were DM, I might have tremorsense negate the miss chance, and maybe the dex loss, but I would still allow the sensing creature to be sneak-attacked. Tremorsense really only detects the attacker's feet, so you don't know where his weapons are.
