| Jeron Alodel03-09-04, 05:04 PM | Hey evryone. I am writing up one of my first campaigns, and I would really like to tie in some type of prophesy into it. The problem is, I keep hearing about Alaundo's prophesies, but I can never find any. If anyone can help in any way, it would be appreciated. I'll come back later and explain some of my campaign ideas. |

A brief primer on his prophecies can be found here (http://www.candlekeep.com/library/articles/alaundo.htm). I don't know if any listing of those that have been revealed exists, but I doubt very seriously that a complete listing is available. A search through Google using "alaundo's prophecies" might turn up a few results of interest. However, I recommend that you exercise your imagination and come up with your own. It's much more entertaining and you can tailor them to your campaign. For example, an ancient prophecy that features in the history of Jenneria (my campaign setting) is the "Seven Dooms of Jamilya." It was spoken by the Sa'aharan sage Akim al Hakim many decades ago. He prophesied that the great city of Jamilya would fall victim to seven disasters which would leave it buried beneath the sands of the desert. Of course, the inhabitants scoffed at the notion that a city could be destroyed seven times. As it turns out, the city was beseiged simultaneously by seven different disasters in the same hour of the same day, the combined results of which razed it to the earth. |
