| DM Stephen10-31-05, 11:43 AM | I've been planning on running fane of the drow for my PCs. They are 4th level and the adventure says it's made for four 4th level PCs. Yet everything seems ridiculously high. Most of the encounters are higher than 4th level, and there are plenty of them. Plus, if I follow the xp rules from the DM guide, they will get tons of xp, and may even skip 5th level and go stright to 6th. This all seems a bit much. Any more experienced DMs got any advice? |

If a DM wanted to, using the rules and tactics given, I think that a party of four 4th level characters would have a very difficult time. I would kick it up a level so at least the Wizard would have a Fireball. But again, depends on the party. I will be running this soon so I haven't got to playtest it yet. |
