I was wondering, what would be a proper reward for adventurer's who just rescued the mayor's daughter from a couple of renegade drow? I was thinking a grant of land since the town is small (200gp limit). But I'm not sure how to handle PCs with land. They'll want to stay there and protct it and build on it instead of going on adventures.

Any advice?

Maybe a declaration of "Heroes of X place," which entitles the Heroes to free room and board at any place in the village, and a few small trinkets to go along with it.

A small town isn't going to give up land to strangers who have done 1 good deed for them, especially if they figure the adventurers aren't always going to be around. They need that land for their own growth.

What level are they?

I'd assume early level if not level 1. They could each be given a horse or something like that.

The players have done much more than just this one deed in the town. They assissted the high cleric in recovering a dangerous spellbook and locked it away. They routed a goblin tribes from the hills near the town. And they cleared out the infamous bandit king who has been plagueing the town for years. The rescue of the mayor's daughter was just the latest adventure.

Edit - They are all level 4 which makes them the highest level characters in town besides the mayor (aritocrate 5).

Well, what I would consider doing at this point, would be a letter of introduction to the town's Lord, which would allow the party a chance to travel away from the starting area, and give them a chance to start entering the political situation of the world. Depending on the direction you want to take the game in, the Lord could Marshel the players to take care of lawbreakers, make them Mercenaries with a Letter of Writ to fight the nations enemies, or just simply give them a reward, like a title and a manor house that they can reclaim, as a reward for loyal service.

This also is a marvelous oppertunity to talor some PrC's for your players, such as Champion of <Name of Town>, <Name of Nationality> Marshel, Free Mercenary, or whatever, to help give players a chance to feel that they can become part of the world a little bit more.
