Im a little confused about this.
If you are proficient with an armor, do you still take negitive modifiers on jump and climb and all that while wearing it?
In the players handbook it has the pre-setup human fighter, and it says he takes like -blah to climb jump and swim, even though the armor he has on is one he is proficient with.

When you wear a type of armor with which you are proficient, the armor check penalty for that armor applies only to Balance, Climb, Escape Artist, Hide, Jump, Move Silently, Sleight of Hand, and Tumble checks.

A character who is wearing armor with which she is not proficient applies its armor check penalty to attack rolls and to all skill checks that involve moving, including Ride.

Although I'm quite Swim should be in that list of which ACP applies for, even if you're proficient. Only for swim it's is double.
